My clients enlist me for tasks great and small and partner with me for a monthly fee — that way there are no surprise bills. I pass along my discounted subscription fee for QuickBooks Pro, so you get the best services at a fair price. By The Books does not handle tax accounting, but we can do all of the bookkeeping to manage your day-to-day transactions and set you up for tax season.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Liberty University in accounting in 2007, I worked at several companies before beginning my own bookkeeping shop. I see every day that with the right tools — and the freedom from all those time-consuming bookkeeping tasks — my clients can do more to make their business a success. I am honored by their deep trust and work hard to keep it! Some of my clients have multiple businesses and a number of them are restaurants.
I live in Southside Virginia and run a farm with my husband: Wild Roots Co. We raise chickens and sheep — and grow bountiful hay. Amidst the beauty and hard work, we’re raising three children.
